I’ve been involved in art most of my life. I grew up with no idea of what the Internet or a web developer was, but I started working with computers in the early 1980s, and it opened up a whole new world for me.

In 1988, my family opened a computer & software store called Bits & PCs in Santa Rosa. It was exciting to learn there were many software programs available for graphic design. I quickly began learning these programs, and designed newspaper ads, Yellow Page ads, brochures and flyers for the business.
